Osserman-$P$ spaces of Iwasawa type

Abstract. We show that a solvable Lie group of Iwasawa type, $2$-step nilpotent nilradical with a left invariant metric satisfying the Osserman-$p$ condition, ($ 1\leq p <{\rm dim}\; S$) is either a space of constant negative sectional curvature or a Damek-Ricci space.
