This paper reports on progress made on problems, mostly in the field of uniform distribution, mentioned in the author's ``Problems and results on diophantine approximations'' [Compositio math. 16, 52-65 (1964; Zbl 131.04803)], and propose some new questions. As usual Professor Erdös is a fount of interesting and amusing pieces of information as well as the generator of manifold problems of varying levels of interest and difficulty.
