Review: In the following, I shall give an example which answers in the affirmative the following problem posed by S.Marcus [Am. Math. Mon. 72, 993-995 (1965; Zbl 143.27802)]. Does there exist an open (Lebesgue or even Borelian) everywhere discontinuous function which has the Darboux property in no intervall?
